Check it, I normally don't get involved with politics.... I keep the shit to myself.... & I'm more than most likely only going to rant just this time.
Imagine having some tard( I use the term tard loosely ) having a job for 8 years, mind you this guy makes up words while giving speeches that the ENTIRE world is viewing or is to view & all the while he is the one who represents us as a nation. ok ok so he has this job for 8 years... we get into debt, terrible tragedies occur, we go to war yet again . ect..... Then its time for reelection and you (pretend you're in Obama's shoes) get elected.... you're the first African American President, (which shouldn't matter) you walk into you're new life and have the tard before you, his mess thrown into your lap and are expected to clean it all up whilst making new, effective strides.......
Open your fucking eyes people. Stop believing what you read, see & hear because you're not being told all of the information anyway. If you're going to fight about something why not it be about better education for you're children, why not ban all of this ridiculous shit they show on TV that you're children watch and look up to. Everyone is so worried about whats going on in the white house when there are so many issues going on closer to home. Kids, people go hungry everyday, single moms who need assistance and can't get it, Kids who want to get into college but don't have the funds so they are denied, yet kids who have the money go, but don't take shit seriously.
I'm beyond tired of hearing about Romney and his Gayness, or how poorly Obama ran/runs things. IF you think you could do a better job why don't you run? Oh you have to have loads of doh oooooh I see.... You noticed that there isn't a Native American running..... you know the ones we stole this "GREAT NATION" from?? It would be A LOT different!! They had one tribal chief & a small group of elders. The most noble and wisest..... Not the man who bribes his voters with false promises & money....
*phew rant over*
I know there are many miss spelled words as well as wrongly used yours...... but... atm >>>>LOOK AT ALL THE FUCKS I GIVE<<<< NONE.

Interview: Deathtruck
This is an interview with the fellas of Deathtruck: Chris Savopoulos - Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals, Anthony Edmiston - Guitar/Vocals, Peter Tavoularis - Bass/Vocals, Chase Henderson - Drums
I thought it would be a bit fun to ask them a few questions, being that I know pretty much null about this 4 man band from Palm Harbor, FL. & I figured not many of you who are apart of the local metal music scene also new nothing, or very little of them. so without further anticipation.......... I give you Deathtruck :)
1. You guys are still fairly new to the local metal
scene, how are you fellas liking it?
Chase: “Stoked to be out of the garage.”
Peter: “We're so thankful for all the fans we've
gained since only March. everyone has been
very welcoming.”2. Have you been bombarded
with ridiculous
with ridiculous
amounts of advice? If so what was the best
advice as well as worst advice given?
Peter: “We haven't really been bombarded with
advice, actually.”
Anthony: “The best advice we've been told is "If
you're going for it, go full force. You have to
want it"
Chris: “The worst advice "Get a real job" or
"Have a plan b"
This is our plan A.”3. How was DeathTruck
established?
established?
Chris: “It started off in 2008, when Chase and
Anthony had a jam band.”
Anthony: “Peter and Chris were in a band
together also. Chris went to jam with me and
Chase, and later Chris wound up leaving Peter's
band. In need of a bassist, I asked Peter to fill
in on bass from guitar.”
4.What came first, the song or the naming of
the band?
Anthony: “The name came first, but we had the
instrumentals for an unnamed song that we
later called DeathtrucK.”
5. I was recently jamming to your tunes &
couldn't help noticing a slight Metallica like
sound. Would you say Metallica is influential to
DeathTruck? If so what are some other musical
influences?
Chris: “Yes, Metallica is a huge influence on us
all and individually.”
Peter: “As a band, Trivium, Metallica, Machine
Head, As I Lay Dying, Opeth, Avenged
Sevenfold, Pantera."
6.I've had the pleasure of seeing you guys play
a couple of months back in Tampa at The Brass
Mug. You guys seem very at home on stage. Do
any of you get preshow jitters?
Chris: “For a lot of us, it's different.”
Anthony: “No I wear a kilt on stage.”
Chase: “Sometimes the smaller the crowd, the
more jitters.”
Chris: “If half of the show likes you and half
hates you, its better to have a lot of likes as
well.”
7. DeathTruck has a song entitled "Fallen
Messiah" Do your personal beliefs figure highly
into what you create? & If so how do you
convert what you feel & believe into the frame
work of your music?
Chris: “The song itself was by Anthony and me.
I'm a Christian, while Anthony is an atheist. It
was a weird project that somehow came
together. My lyrics brought in with Anthony's to
create a story line of the fall of Antichrist."
8.Do you dudes currently have a demo out? If
so where can those whom may be interested
find it??
Peter: “Yes we have a demo, but we burn them
ourselves. We sometimes hand out copies at
shows but we will make one if someone asks.
We plan to go into the studio soon and have
physical copies and digital downloads. We are
on ReverbNation and Facebook.”
9. What is DeathTruck's biggest goal for 2012?
Chris: “Keep playing anywhere and everywhere
we can.”
Peter: “Hopefully before the end of the year we
can get in the studio and record our debut EP
and hope that the right people hear it.”

Interview: RIPTORN
1. A few weeks ago you guys opened for Deicide, could you explain that experience & the feeling you felt for opening for such a legendary band?
Colbert:"It was a bittersweet experience. We've recently lost Jay (Robinson, former bassist of Riptorn) and we debated whether we should play the show. Ultimately, we decided it was the right things to do, and and we feel that Jay would agree.Deicide's been a driving force for brutal death metal, and sharing the stage with them was something else! The fans responded well, and we loved their energy!"
2. Recently Riptorn has to seen out a new bassist due to tragic events, was it an instant decision to add Daniel Santana to the line up?
Colbert: "Pretty much Daniel's been a veteran of the scene for a long time, and his chops are dynamite. Honestly, we were surprised he stepped up and expressed how much of a fan he is of our music. He's always easy to get along with, picks up new material quickly and has proven himself as a driving force behind our creativity. We're excited to see what the future holds with him holding down the low-end."
3. When When writing the material for the EP what was the biggest influence?
Colbert: "Our focus is on the total package. When we write material, we don't focus so much on writing a particular hook, blazing lead or a particular beat. Brad(Jones) and Ben(Salzgeber) and jam riffs, come up with most of the song, then Keenan(Womble) adds his beats along the way. I'll occasionally offer some suggestions along the way, but usually write lyrics after the finished product comes out."
4. Lyrically do you guts aim for goofy somewhat random stuff??
Colbert: "Yeah because a lot of musicians take themselves too seriously. We want people to have fun at our shows. We want people to laugh and have a good time. I never expect anyone to have an emotional epiphany over my lyrics. If they like it , and they think we're fun, then they're more likely to bring their friends and family out. Spreading the love, one headbange at a time."
5. "Could you please describe Riptorn's sound for those whom may not be familiar with the band?
Colbert: "We're an odious mixture of thrash, hardcore, black, punk and doom. With a touch of fried Southern goodness. We're not trying to toe any particular musical line. If it sounds good we rock it."
6. Are the fellas of Riptorn thinking of anything full length?
Colbert: "Absolutely! We're currently finishing two new songs, and hope to have to have a full length album completed by early to mid 2013."
7. If you could tell your fans one thing about Riptorn that no one else knows what would that one thing be?
Keenan(Womble): "I would like them to know that their drummer (me lol) does play with a disability. I do have prosthetic hips. I was sidelined for 3 years due to a vascular Necrosis and was determined to come back to do what I enjoy
Ben(Colbert): "I sang "Living La Vida Loca: with choreographed stage dancers in front of a packed cruise ship music hall."
Brad(Jones): "We used to be called Final Thoughts"
Benjamin(Salzgeber): "Much of my spare time is spent slaying zombies, mostly C.O.D (Call of Duty: Black Ops)"
Daniel Santana: " Sadly I'm the new guy in the band and I have nothing to say yet.... But I can tell you that I love these motherfuckers in a non fag way."
8.How do you feel about the bands progress?is it going at the pace you wish? Or would you prefer it to quicken?
Colbert: "We always produce material faster, but we also understand its about quality material. We'd much rather spend more time getting it right, than writing twenty songs of mediocre crap. If our fan reaction is any indication, I'd say we've got the right formula.
