Some of you may know the bands in which I'll be discussing, Most ( or a good amount at least ) will not, Which is perfectly fine because I'll provide links where you can find the featured bands & there music and in some cases music videos. Moving on..... One day I was at a show chatting it up with several friends. the topic was how often local bands experience line up changes. So I got to thinking.... Why not inform my fellow metal brethren which changes have been made & perhaps get some input from not on the bands, but the new members as well.

1.How did the opportunity present itself to play with PTP??
A: "Ive known the guys in PTP for a while because my old band "Forever Silly Beans" shared a practice place with them at a tattoo shop. Tom and Erich contacted me as soon as Ian was unable to play with them and I jumped at the opportunity."
2. What has the experience been like so far?
A: "I've had a blast since I've joined PTP (Path to Prevail) and hope to take things to the next level, cant wait to hit the open road."
3. What is your personal writing process like?
A: "Erich and Alex do the song writing, and then I add my bass lines and input."
4. What is your favorite metal genre?
A: "Hmmm since I don't really listen to metal I gotta go with
my hardcore roots."
my hardcore roots."
5. Name 5 bands that you can't stand.
A: "Let's see Nickleback has to be the worst band on the planet but, 3 Doors Down is a close 2nd, Korn is vile..... Godsmack and to finish I'll go Disturbed."
6. What has been your favorite show with PTP so far
A: "Fav. show so far is most deff playing with Dying fetus and
Cattle Decapitation."

A: "t's been a great time so far, long but awesome practice
sessions, with no drama whatsoever. That's a big plus in my book."
2.Have you had any stage time with them yet?
A: "Nope, but we're playing on the 21st for that end of the world show at the mug. It'll be the first time the band has played live since I joined a few months ago."

3. Are you in any side projects?
A: "Yes, I'm working on several different projects at the moment. I'm in Thee Ramblin' Woodsmen, which is a band that really has no clear definition. We switch up on instruments sometimes, but it's mostly acoustic guitar, with bongos too. It's just about having fun and getting drunk. I'm also doing guitar for a stoner-rock/doom project, which I'm very excited about. There are songs about warriors and beasts, and all that good stuff, but I don't believe we've settled on a name for the band yet."

4.How long have you been a musician?
A: "I don't know how to answer that. I like what I play, and I play what I like, but I don't feel like I'm a musician. There are too many people who I would consider real musicians, that can read music and are much better equipped at composing and performing it than me."

5.How long have you been apart of the local metal scene?
A: "Since sometime in the summer, I guess that would be 5 or 6 months? Maybe less, to be honest I haven't been keeping track."

6. What is your preferred metal genre?
A: "Whatever genre I happen to be playing at any given moment is my favorite. That's a boring answer though, so I'll say if I have to pick and choose only one genre of metal to listen to for the rest of eternity it would be stoner rock/metal. That includes anything heavy, sludgy, or doomy as well as groovy, bluesy, or psychedelic. I like music best though, when it's hard to define what it is."
